2008 Holiday Shipping Schedule
Christmas (Thursday December 25)
- UPS is closed on Thursday December 25.
- For most orders placed on or before Monday December 15, UPS Ground shipping will be okay so your items arrive prior to the Christmas Holiday.
- Orders placed after Monday December 15, may require expedited shipping.
- Orders placed the week of Christmas, must be received before 2pm Eastern Time on Monday December 22 and ship via Next Day Air or 2nd Day Air to deliver on Wednesday December 24.
New Year (Thursday January 1)
- UPS is closed on Wednesday December 31 and Thursday January 1.
- For most orders placed on or before Monday December 15, UPS Ground shipping will be okay so your items arrive prior to the New Year Holiday.
- Orders placed after Monday December 15, may require expedited shipping.
- Orders placed the week of New Years, must be received before 2pm Eastern Time on Monday December 29 and ship via Next Day Air to deliver on Tuesday December 30.
** All other orders will be held to ship on Monday January 5th

Temperature & Shipping Guidelines for Live Plants
Live plants are very sensitive to temperature and during periods of
extreme temperatures we may have to delay shipment of your order.
Please review the guidelines below for the temperature requirements,
from our location in Florida to the delivery location, prior to placing your order.
- Below Freezing (32 degrees F)
- No live plants can ship until the temperature warms
- 32-40 degrees F
- Japanese Juniper Bonsai can ship via UPS Ground
- Other Bonsai must ship to arrive in 1-2 business days
- Lucky Bamboo must ship to arrive in 1-2 business days
- 40-80 degrees F
- All live plants can ship via UPS Ground
- Above 80 degrees F
- All live plants must ship to arrive in 3 business days or less
Eve's Garden Inc will arrange the shipping schedule so orders containing
LIVE PLANTS are delivered by Friday of the week shipped to avoid weekend travel in the box.
For some delivery areas, this will require that we ship only on a Monday or Tuesday.
UPS counts only Monday through Friday (Business Days) and the day of shipping does not count.
General Guidelines
- Orders received after 1:00 pm Eastern Time on weekdays,
and orders received on weekends and holidays, are processed the next business day.
- Cut-off time to receive an order for same-day shipping is 1:00 pm Eastern Time.
- All orders are FOB Land O Lakes, Florida. This means that you pay all freight beginning at our nursery in Land O Lakes, Florida.
- Orders are shipped via United Parcel Service (UPS).
- Shipping is limited to U.S. Continental 48 States, Hawaii, and Alaska Only. No Puerto Rico or U.S. Virgin Islands. No International.
- Eve's Garden, Inc. is not responsible for UPS Shipping delays. Expedited shipping charges will not be reimbursed due to UPS shipping delays.
- We CANNOT ship JUNIPER trees to California due to USDA Regulations.
- We CANNOT ship LIVE PLANTS to Hawaii due to USDA Regulations.
- Non-live good shipments to Hawaii require UPS 2nd Day Air or UPS Next Day Air.
- Hospitals: We cannot deliver to Intensive Care units (ICU) or the
Critical Care Units (CCU) of hospitals as most hospitals will not allow this.
If you send a gift to someone in the hospital who is in ICU or CCU,
the hospital will hold the order until the person is released to a regular room.
Please note that deliveries to hospitals may take an extra 3 to 5 days.
- We cannot deliver to Post Office Boxes or APO's.
- We cannot deliver to Cruise ships, Planes, Trains, and Cemeteries.
- Total Order Weights totaling over 150 pounds are shipped via UPS using Eve's Garden Inc. shipping rates.
